This morning as we waited at the Shrine of Our Lady of Europa for the arrival of the Bishop, a gentleman turned up to wish us a good journey. He also donated 1000 pounds sterling for RICC. He wishes to remain anonymous. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts for his generosity. It is also a great show of faith on his part of our ability to complete this walk! We will not let him down. Perhaps when we finish the walk we can come and tell him of our experiences!
After a blessing by the Bishop Emeritus of Gibraltar, Charles Caruana, we set off for Algeciras on a wet and blustery day, arriving at around 6.00pm. Our "Credencial" was duly stamped at the Nuestra Señora de la Palma church in Algeciras. Tonight we will sleep like logs!
